DIY Glass block nite light... Great for a baby shower gift.
What you need:
Glass block (I got mine at Hobby Lobby),
Vellum scrapbook paper, with or without a design,
Stickers, cardstock or vinyl for words. I used my Silhouette to cut the letters out,
Ribbon to tie around the block,
Light for inside the block (they have lights at Hobby Lobby next to the glass blocks. You can choose a string of lights or one bulb. I went for the single bulb.),
Mod Podge,
Foam brush.

Tissue Paper PomPoms Tutorial
Step 1: Lay 8-10 sheets of tissue paper on a table with a short end closest to you.
Step 2: Accordion fold the tissue paper all the way to the end - make each fold approximately 1 inch.
Step 3: Once you have your paper accordion folded, fold the whole thing in half to mark the middle (this doesn't need to be exact, just close).
Step 4: Cut two small slits or notches on either side of the tissue paper. Then tie string around the middle (in the slits/notches) to hold everything together. Make sure your string will be long enough to be used to hang your pompom when you're done. Thread & fishing line are great for this, because they are almost invisible when hanging.
